The awards will be distributed on Friday, October 25, 2013. The 40 under 40 program was established Pittsburgh Magazine and PUMP and for fifteen years, has been annually recognizing 40 leaders in the Pittsburgh region whose commitment, passion, diversity, creativity and vision have enriched the Pittsburgh region. A complete profile of honorees will be published in Pittsburgh Magazine’s November issue. Congratulations to Ken!

That trend was reversed on the First Day of school for the incoming Kindergarteners. 51 of 54 children enrolled came on the first day of school! Hoorah for all the new Kindergarteners and their parents! Keep up the good work!

The Principal of Spring Hill Todd Van Horn sent the following message to Ken and Aisha:

Hello to both of you,

I just wanted to thank you both for helping to kick off our first day of Kindergarten with such a bang!!!! For your records, we had 51 out of the 54 enrolled students show up today! Now with the help of the Ready Freddy program I hope to keep those numbers in attendance throughout the year.

K-Clubs provide 6 sessions of parent-child activities that are designed to help ease student anxiety and make learning and preparing for school fun. Our summer K-clubs are winding down now.
